Good morning! Last Monday we officially began construction on the Fallen Officers Memorial! Please feel free to drive by the Jacksonville Veterans Memorial Arena, at the A. Philip Randolph entrance, to see the developments. Currently there is a 10' cinderblock wall and the foundation for the circle. We are expected to be done with construction at the end of April or the beginning of May, with hopes of hosting our local Police Memorial Day on May 6.

As of December 18, 2015 I am now an Eagle Scout! Thank you so much for your time, effort and support of this project, this wall will be an extrordinary addition to our beautiful City of Jacksonville. It takes a lot for a young teenager to get motivated just to do their homework, let alone start a project of this caliber. I want to thank everyone who was involved for helping push me and drive me towards reaching my goals; this project would never have happened without the love and support that you have given towards this cause.
While my Eagle project is complete, I am continuing the progress on the memorial and I will continue the Fallen Officers Memorial's mission throughout the rest of my life: to serve the public safety community, honor our heroes, and work towards making law enforcement a safer profession.
As of right now, more than $130,000 has been raised to build and maintain the police memorial wall, with a goal of reaching $250,000. Construction is now in it's physical starting stage. If you stop by the Jacksonville Veterans Memorial Arena you will notice that lighting has been added around the future memorial site with hopes of more development coming this month. Our hope is to complete the wall prior to May in order to host Jacksonville's annual Police Memorial Day!

It is 2014 and with the new year came new opportunities for this project to grow! We are now at roughly $17,000 raised and I am participating in many upcoming fundraisers. In April I will be displaying my project at One Spark, speaking at Guns & Hoses, and presenting to the North Florida Council for Boy Scouts of America. In May I am traveling to National Police Memorial Week to attend the candle vigil and the police memorial service. While there, I will be set up with a table trying to bring awareness to our City's future memorial. Please help me accomplish my goal of $250,000. This memorial has been long needed in Jacksonville and this is the opportunity to receive one. Thank you!

Today was a very productive day for the project. I went downtown and met with Sheriff Rutherford and he fully supports my project. Hopefully this meeting has helped me lock in a location for the project. Check back often for more updates, thanks!
